The Cossatot River Wilderness Lodge is located on the banks of the Cossatot River in the Caney Creek Wildlife Management Area, surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest, the Caney Creek Wilderness Area and is also close to the Caney Creek Trailhead.  

You will marvel at the beautiful setting of the Cabins near the Cossatot River, but our Wilderness Lodge also provides access to a wide range of outdoor activities.  The Cossatot River is one of the most popular rivers in Arkansas for floating and white water adventures by canoe or kayak.  Rock Climbers will enjoy the rock structures found on the bluff below the cabins.  There are miles and miles of back roads for ATV, Mountain Biking, and horseback riding.  The nearby Caney Creek Trail provides a Wilderness experience for hikers and Equestrians.  And their is year-round fishing and hunting.
